Elevated Work Platform

Course DetailThe course involves theory and practice in the use of EWP’s. At the end of this course candidates will be proficient in the use of EWP’s.
EWP is recommended for any person who needs to be elevated to a height of 11 meters or more, by means of a work platform.
Pre-requisites
- Minimum age 18 years
- Basic English literacy
Requirements
- Wear enclosed shoes (no thongs or sandals)
- Identification Documentation
- If you hold current WorkSafe WA/Interstate licenses they must be provided to allow for updates.
Identification
- All applicants must have photo identification, or other documentary evidence of identity and proof of age.
- A driver's licence, passport or proof of age card are acceptable or documents which include name, date of birth and signature.

Cost
$316.00 per person - price includes cost of Tuition, passport photos, material and $76 WorkSafe WA fee for National Certification (licence). We also process and lodge all paperwork on your behalf to Worksafe.
NOTE: If eligible for BCITF funding (see below for details), we are able to bulk bill which means the course will cost you just $131.00.

Building and Construction Industry Training Fund
The BCITF was developed to support the demands of the building and construction industry for skilled workers by funding certain courses within the sector, for more information visit the BCITF website.
Am I Eligible For A Rebate
To receive up to 80% BCITF training subsidy the candidate must be:
- Currently directly employed in the Building and Construction Industry in Western Australia and on the completion of this course intending to continue working in the building and construction industry.
- (if unemployed) be able to demonstrate that they were directly employed in the Building and Construction Industry in Western Australia on a full time basis, within the previous 12 months from the date of the course commencement.
Who Is Not Eligible For A Rebate
A candidate is NOT eligible for a rebate:
- Employees or individuals working on construction or maintenance projects on mining, gas or oil exploration sites.
- Employees of Government agencies and departments.
- Idividuals or the employees of companies, who manufacture, supply or deliver building products or provide or install non building products on completion of the construction process.
- The employees of companies, who install, maintain and repair lifts and escalators.
- Employees or individuals who intend to work in the resources sector on completion of their training.
