Since 1st January 2007 all people working on construction sites in Western Australia are required to take this Building and Construction Safety Awareness course. A Blue card is issued on successful completion of this course.
The short course is made up of 4 sections:

- Environmental considerations
Online learning allows the participant to work through the Blue Card short course at their own pace. Knowledge and understanding is tested throughout the course via a series of multiple choice questions. Lessons can be revisited if candidate wishes. Recognition of prior learning gives the candidate the option to fast track to the questions, in this instance the time taken to complete the course may take less than the mandatory 4 hours specified by WorkSafe.
Postage and Packaging (included in price)
The Blue Card and a course receipt will be sent out by Express Domestic Post. Alternatively candidates may pick up the card and receipt from the Mandurah office (if this is the case you will need to contact us and let us know, before it is sent out in the post). Both options are included in the price.

Auditing Process
As part of our standard auditing process, you may be contacted by email or telephone to verify that you understand the learning material presented.
I am moving to WA can I get my Blue / White Card before I get there?
Yes, as it is illegal to work on a construction site without a Blue Card, therefore it makes sense to get your card before you get here. However you would not be eligible for the BCITF rebate.
