In Short
The candidate will learn how to set up MYOB from scratch, customise MYOB to meet your specific needs and perform normal day-to-day bookkeeping required in a business or profession.
Prerequisites
A reasonable working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and file management. No previous experience or knowledge of MYOB is required.

Course Content
Students will learn the following skills during the 2 day course
Day 1:
- start and navigate around MYOB
Introduction to basic accounting terminology
Navigate within MYOB AccountRight software
Create a new company file for your business
Customise tax codes
Modify the accounts list
Create information cards for customer, supplier and employee records
Create inventory and service items
Enter opening balances and historical transactions
Back up and restore company files
Day Two:
Create customer quotes, orders and invoices
Process customer payments
Create adjustment notes for sales returns
Create supplier quotes, purchase orders and bills
Record supplier payments
Record money received and spent
Deal with petty cash
Prepare and print bank deposit slips
Customise reports
Complete a bank reconciliation
Course Completion
Upon completion of this course, the candidate will receive a Certificate of Achievement.
