In Short
This course is a unit of competency required to safely and effectively operate electrical, hydraulic and mechanical elevated work platforms (EWPs) in a variety of different terrains and situations to access isolated work areas.
Prerequisites
CPCCCM1010A - Work Safely at heights.
CPCCOHS2001A - Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry.

Course Content
To successfully complete the course, participants must demonstrate achievement of each element: 1. Plan and Prepare
Planning and preparation is conducted properly while adhering to OHS requirements. Tools and equipment, including personal equipment, is properly maintained and identified and environmental requirements are identified.
2. Conduct routine checks of platform
3. Locate equipment in place for work application
In accordance with safe operating procedures.
4. Elevate platform to work location
Carried out to job specification and safety (OHS) requirements of operator�??s manual.
5. Lower platform and shut down
6. Clean up
