In Short

This course covers elements required for the applicant to perform basic rigging. The unit specifies the outcomes required to perform work associated with movement of plant and equipment , steel erections, hoists, placement of pre-cast concrete, safety nets and static lines, perimeter safety screens and shutters; and cantilever crane loading platforms.

CPCCLDG3001A - Licence to perform dogging

Course Content

To successfully complete the course, participants must demonstrate achievement of each element:
1. Plan and Prepare

Identify potential hazards, forces and loads associated with dismantling structures and associated plant, rigging equipment and associated equipment.

2. Select and Inspect Equipment

3. Set up Task

Appropriate hazard prevention/control measures are applied, ground suitability is inspected and safety equipment is fitted and worn correctly.

4. Erect Structures and Plant

5. Dismantle Structures and Plant
